Mortlach 1989 is a single cask Speyside malt, 33 years old, bottled at 52.9% in a 70cl bottle. It comes from Hunter Laing's Old & Rare Platinum range, alongside the Old Malt Cask series. Hunter Laing is a family company run by Stewart Laing and his sons Scott and Andrew. For Old Malt Cask they buy only casks of the best quality from sought-after Scottish distilleries, then mature and bottle them to their own ideas. Each month the master blender, with the help of a tasting panel, chooses a few casks that have reached their peak.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
