Mortlach – Cowie's Blue Seal 20 Year Old (75cl)

Mortlach Cowie's Blue Seal is a 20 year old Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, in a 75cl bottle. It is part of Mortlach's permanent range, alongside the 12 and 16 year olds. It was matured for a minimum of 20 years, only in ex-American oak refill sherry casks. Mortlach is nicknamed The Beast of Dufftown for its rich, powerful spirit, and the long maturation brings it to a mellow complexity. The nose is dense and elegant, with cedar oak, leather oil and dried fruit. The palate shows dried fruit, cedarwood, leather and tobacco.
