A 2024 Special Release single malt from Mortlach, the Dufftown distillery known as the Beast of Dufftown. It was finished in casks that previously held Ramandolo white wine and Sangiovese red wine, and has a distinctive tint in the light.
The flavour is built from layered crisp fruit, caramelised miso and a hint of cured prosciutto, giving a savoury, umami character alongside the fruit.
