Mortlach – Rare Old (50cl, 43.4%)

Mortlach Rare Old is a Speyside single malt in a 500ml bottle at 43.4% abv, from the distillery known as The Beast of Dufftown. It combines sherry influences with spice from charred American and European oak. The nose offers honey, dried apricot and spicy oak. The palate brings soft sherry notes, vanilla, raisins and light spices, and the finish is medium long and warm with subtle wood spice.
