Mossburn Vintage Cask No.39 is a 16-year-old Blair Athol single malt from the Highlands, bottled at a cask strength of 54.1%.
It was matured mainly in Oloroso sherry casks, and the bottling centres on dried fruit, warming spice and a long finish.
The nose brings rich dried fruit and warm spice. On the palate come sultana, fig and orange peel, balanced by nutmeg and toasted oak, and the finish is long and warming with a sherry sweetness.
