This is a Speyside single malt from the Glen Elgin distillery, bottled by Murray McDavid as Batch 1 of its Cask Craft Collection. It was finished in ex-Islay hogsheads and bottled without chill filtration or artificial colouring. The peated finish gives a zesty character of mellow bonfire embers, lemon and honey, with a long and satisfying finish to a light, fruity Speysider.
