A 100% copper pot-still Jamaican rum distilled from molasses at Worthy Park Estate in the Lluidas Vale region. It is made using the WPE marque and matured for 10 years in ex-bourbon barrels, with the casks ageing in the United Kingdom before bottling.
Bottled at cask strength at 120 proof (60% ABV), it contains no additives, colouring or sweeteners. The name honours the historic Myrtle Bank Hotel in Kingston.
The nose has overripe banana, mango, pineapple, passion fruit, molasses, vanilla and classic Jamaican hogo. The palate is full-bodied with grilled pineapple, brown sugar, cocoa, fermented tropical fruit and baking spice, finishing long and warming with tropical fruit, oak spice and molasses richness.
