The second release in the Sleepy Barmaid series from Nagahama, blended from Awamori and oak-aged malt whiskies from around the world. It is bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and without added colouring, in a release of 6,000 bottles.
The series draws on a manga about three female bartenders, and this bottle represents the character Kiho Ibuki. The blend is based on sherry casks and carries about 50ppm of smoky malt.
Orange-like citrus leads the nose, and the palate brings red berries and rum raisins from the sherry casks, with moderate, soothing tannins.
