Nardini Amaro (70cl)

Nardini Amaro is an Italian herbal liqueur made by the Nardini distillery in Bassano del Grappa, which has been working since 1779. It is built from alpine herbs, citrus peels, roots and other botanicals, balancing bitterness with sweetness. It is dark in colour and is served neat or chilled as a digestif, over ice with a twist of orange peel, or in cocktails such as a Black Manhattan or an Amaro Spritz. The nose combines aromatic herbs, citrus zest, liquorice and spice. The palate is smooth and balanced, with bitter herbs, orange peel, dark sugar and root spice. The finish lingers, slightly bitter, with warm herbal and citrus notes.
