This is Huntress 2022, a limited single malt from the NC'Nean distillery in Scotland, bottled at 48.5% in a 70cl bottle.
It is made from organic Highland barley and fermented with three yeasts: Anchor, Fermentis and a rum yeast. The spirit matured in a combination of ex-bourbon casks and STR wine casks. It is bottled non-chill-filtered and at natural colour.
The nose is fruity and spiced, with citrus, peach, pear, vanilla and a hint of smoke. On the palate it is soft and balanced, with honey, cloves and nutmeg, leading to a long, warm, lightly sweet finish.
