A single malt from the NC'Nean distillery in Scotland, made from organic barley and bottled at 48.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the Quiet Rebels series, which is dedicated to individual members of the distillery team.
The whisky matured in a combination of ex-bourbon casks and Pineau des Charentes casks. Pineau des Charentes is a French fortified wine made from grape must and cognac spirit. It is bottled non-chill-filtered and with natural colour.
The nose is fruity and spicy, with banana bread, grapefruit, peach ice cream, vanilla and a hint of smoke. The palate adds clove and nutmeg, leading to a long, warm finish with light sweetness.
