NC'nean Cask Strength Batch CS/GD06 is an organic single malt from a certified organic distillery on the west coast of Scotland. It is made with organic Scottish barley and bottled at natural cask strength without filtration. The whisky was matured in ex-bourbon and red wine casks.
It is a warm amber in the glass. The nose is ripe pears and apples with citrus and a light vanilla sweetness. The palate is creamy, with malty sweetness, honey, spice, caramel, toasted nuts and a hint of dark chocolate. The finish is long and warming, with fine spice and subtle oak.
