Nelson's Green Brier is a sour mash Tennessee whiskey, made from corn, wheat and malted barley. It follows the wheated recipe of Charles Nelson and is the first bottling of the brand since 1909.
The whiskey is filtered through sugar maple charcoal and aged in new charred oak barrels. It is bottled at 45.5% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The nose is full and warm, with caramel, vanilla, cinnamon and apple. The palate brings brown sugar, cinnamon roll, caramel apple and a touch of cocoa. The long finish carries cinnamon, brown sugar, Gala apple and black cherry.
