Never Never Juniper Freak Navy Strength Gin (70cl, 58%)

This is a navy strength gin from Never Never Distilling Co. in South Australia, in a 70cl bottle at 58% vol. Juniper Freak is an annual release, distilled during the peak juniper season and marked with its year of distillation. It is made using the distillery's Triple Juniper process, which combines maceration, distillation and vapour infusion, and it is unfiltered. The nose is juniper and pine needles with citrus zest, spice and a hint of floral resin. The palate is big and oily, with juniper, coriander, angelica root, lemon peel and peppercorn. It finishes long, dry and peppery, with lingering piney freshness.
