Nikka Black Clear Blended Japanese Whisky (70cl, 37%)

Nikka Black Clear is a blended Japanese whisky bottled at 37% in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to Nikka's Black range and combines whiskies from the Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries. The colour is golden with gleaming undertones. The nose is light, with honey, malt and sweetness. On the palate the sweetness is overpowered by the warmth of the alcohol, which makes it rough, and the finish is short, spicy and warming. It is suggested as a first dram for newcomers, best taken neat.
