Nikka Black Clear is a blended Japanese whisky bottled at 37% in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the Black Nikka range from the producer founded by Masataka Taketsuru in 1934, and it combines malt and grain whiskies, with the malt left unpeated.
The nose is light, fruity and gently malty, with orchard fruit, honey and vanilla. On the palate it is smooth and lightly sweet, with green apple, pear, caramel and a little citrus and spice. The finish is short and clean, with sweet cereal and a touch of black pepper.
