Nikka Days (70cl, 40%)

Nikka Days is a Japanese blended whisky made from grain and malt whiskies from Nikka's Miyagikyo and Yoichi distilleries, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It has a medium body, with floral and zesty flavours over a vanilla-toffee depth and a light touch of peat smoke. The nose brings apples, pears, strawberry and honeydew, with orange oil, malt sweetness and lemon cheesecake. The palate is creamy and smooth, with toffee apple, roasted nuts, toasted malted cereal, vanilla fudge and a hint of barrel char. The finish is buttery, with lemon shortbread, vanilla and sugar.
