This Miyagikyo single malt comes from Nikka of Japan, in a 70cl bottle at 45% ABV. The malt used has less peat than is common, and the spirit is distilled in a pot still heated by indirect steam at a low temperature.
A strong sherry cask influence runs through it, alongside a distinctive aroma. It is described as soft and fruity, with an elegant fruitiness.
