Nikka Taketsuru 21 Year Old is a Japanese blended malt whisky, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It takes its name from Masataka Taketsuru, who travelled to Scotland to learn distilling and then founded Japan's first malt distillery. Nikka describes this 21 year old as the top of its blended whiskies. The house says it still follows Taketsuru's patient approach to blending, working at a distillery site chosen for its natural attributes.
