Nikka Whisky Corn Base is a Japanese whisky that grew out of an experiment at Nikka with corn as the raw material.
Corn is considerably harder to break down and distil than barley, so the project called for careful work before it produced this corn-based whisky.
This bottling was produced before Japan introduced its whisky labelling standards in February 2021.
