A Japanese blended whisky from Nikka, from the 1980s, in a 76cl bottle at 43% ABV. This limited edition is decorated with an American football outfit, and the Gold & Gold Samurai edition it follows was first released for Japanese travel retail. It is a blend of malt and grain whiskies.
The nose is subtle, floral and sweet, with soft perfume, grassy and herbal notes and green mint. The palate is light, with malt and grain character, sweet vanilla and caramel, winter mint, pine and citrus. The finish is short and sweet, ending dry with a splash of bitterness, black tea and a minty note.
