Nikka From the Barrel 40th Anniversary Edition – Extra Marriage is a Japanese blended whisky in a 50cl bottle, bottled at 51.4%. It marks the anniversary of one of the best-known bottles in Japanese whisky. Malt and grain whiskies matured in different casks are left together for a longer "extra marriage" period before bottling. Spicy, cask-led and fruitier notes sit in balance. Roasted tones, ripe fruit, vanilla, caramel and light spice are often found on both nose and palate, and a little water brings out further layers.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
