Nikka Yoichi Single Malt is a blend of Yoichi malt whiskies of various ages, bottled at 45% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is the sole Nikka single malt.
A large portion of the whisky was matured in ex-sherry casks. Yoichi, Nikka Whisky's first distillery, is on the coast of Hokkaido, the northernmost island of Japan, and uses methods such as direct coal heating.
Smoky, fruity and floral aromas sit in delicate balance, with peat, nutmeg, dry fruits and chocolate in the profile.
