Type
Single Malt Whisky
This is Nikka Yoichi, a Japanese single malt from the Yoichi distillery. Nikka was founded in 1934 and is Japan's second largest distiller. Yoichi malts are described as bold and strong, with refined peaty notes and smokiness that come from traditional direct coal-fired distillation. During maturation, sea breeze from Ishikari Bay adds a briny hint to the whisky.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
