No.3 is a London dry gin from Berry Bros. & Rudd, named after the firm's address at No.3 St. James's Street, London, where it has traded since 1698. It took two years to develop, with Dr David Clutton and a group of mixologists, and the recipe was created from scratch. It uses six botanicals, with juniper, citrus and spice in balance. It is bottled at 46% because that is the strength at which those botanicals perform most fully in a cocktail. The key on the label echoes the key to the parlour door of the shop. The nose is soft sweet pine with clementine and a hint of chai, leading to a very clean, dry finish.
