Nobilis Jamaica Hampden C<>H 2018 6 Year Old (70cl, 67.6%)

A single cask Jamaican rum from Hampden, distilled in pot stills with high ester content. It was matured for six years and bottled at cask strength with no added sugar or colouring. The outturn is 187 bottles. The nose is lively and estery, with overripe tropical fruit, mango, pineapple, banana, solvent, olive brine and smoky rubber. The palate is intensely aromatic, with fermented fruit and spicy heat, and the finish is long and dry, with dark chocolate, caramel and oak tannins.
