A 16-year-old single grain whisky from the North British distillery in Edinburgh, distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2024 by Murray McDavid. It is bottled at a cask strength of 51.5% in a 70cl bottle.
The spirit spent most of its maturation in American bourbon casks before a finish in French Sauternes wine casks.
The nose offers honey-drenched vanilla, tropical fruit and apricot preserves with a little oak spice. On the palate come creamy butterscotch, toffee, ripe peach and candied citrus peel, with a sweet white wine note. The finish is long and warming, with oak spice and dried fruit.
