North Port-Brechin 38 Year Old is a single malt distilled in 1977 at the Brechin distillery in the Highlands, which went silent in 1983. It was filled into a single refill bourbon hogshead and bottled in 2015 for Cadenhead's Small Batch range.
Just 174 individually numbered bottles were drawn, at natural cask strength, non-chill-filtered and natural in colour.
The spirit is austere and cereal-rich in character, with honeyed vanilla, citrus oils and polished oak spice.
