This is a single cask Mannochmore from the Speyside region, bottled as part of North Star's Cask Series 23. It was distilled in October 2010 and bottled in August 2023, at 12 years old and 54% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was finished in a red wine barrique.
The nose offers strawberry and dried apricot in blossom honey. The palate is thick, sweet and juicy, full of berries. The finish stays sweet, with berries and pastry in a dessert-like close.
