This Linkwood single malt was distilled in Speyside in May 2012 and matured for ten years in a single Oloroso Sherry hogshead. North Star Spirits bottled it independently in April 2023 as part of Cask Series 022, at 53.5% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered, and the cask gave 310 bottles.
The nose is strawberry and dark chocolate sorbet. The palate brings rhubarb crumble, vanilla custard and fresh bread rolls, and the finish is leather with a sweet, iced-cake character.
