This is a 9 year old Speyside single malt from Linkwood Distillery, distilled in February 2016 and independently bottled by North Star Spirits in August 2025 as part of Cask Series 026.
It was assembled from three Oloroso sherry octaves and two refill hogsheads, giving 624 bottles at 52.9% ABV.
The nose is light and floral, with orchard fruit, boiled sweets and a hint of aniseed. On the palate, ripe fruit and malt sweetness sit alongside sherry richness, vanilla, oak and warming spice. The finish is lingering, with fruit sweetness, aniseed, malt and drying oak spice.
