Nuestra Soledad Santa Maria Zoquitlán Mezcal

Nuestra Soledad Santa Maria Zoquitlán is a mezcal made from wild Madrecuixe agave, a member of the Karwinskii species. The size and shape of the plant give a high concentration of sugars, and the mezcal is known for its softness and subtle aromas. The village of Santa Maria Zoquitlán lies between two rivers, with mineral-rich soil that shapes the flavour of its agaves. The nose brings lemon zest, red pepper, tropical fruit and smoked game. The palate is big, creamy and complex, with honeysuckle and sandalwood. The long finish carries lychee, stone fruit and savoury herbs.
