Oban 10 Year Old is a Highland single malt from the 2022 Special Releases, a series of eight bottlings called Elusive Expressions. It comes in a 70cl bottle at a natural cask strength of 57.1%.
The whisky matured in refill and virgin American oak, then in Amontillado seasoned casks.
The nose is sweet, with figs, stone fruit, cherries, chocolate and a light sea breeze. On the palate there is blood orange, plum and apple alongside salty, spicy notes. The finish is medium in length, salty and spicy.
