Oban 10 Year Old is the 2022 Diageo Special Release, a cask strength single malt in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was first matured in refill and new American oak casks, then aged further in amontillado sherry casks. That second stage makes it a little different from most Oban bottlings.
It is described as an elegant, sherry-forward layer of dried and fresh fruit alongside Oban's orangey distillery character.
