Oban 10 Year Old Special Release 2024, also known as Coastal Orchard, is a cask strength single malt bottled at 58%. It was matured in refill casks and finished in charred American oak casks that previously held Oloroso sherry. It is part of Diageo's 2024 Special Releases.
The nose is fresh sea air with salt, seaweed, vanilla, lemon and oak. The palate is full and creamy, with citrus, sea salt and peppery oak, balanced by fruit. The finish is of medium length, spicy and marked by salt and fruit.
