An 11 year old Oban from the 2023 Special Release, bottled at 58% in a 70cl bottle. It finished its maturation in ex-rum casks that previously held Caribbean rum.
The rum finish adds tropical notes of sugar cane and mango to the Highlands and islands style of Oban. The whisky has a bright gold colour, and a fresh sea breeze runs through the aroma, supported by citrus and lifted by tropical fruit and a dry, sharp edge.
