This is the 2025 Special Release of Oban 12 Years, named Heart of the Harbour and bottled at 54.7% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in ex-bourbon casks of American oak.
The nose pairs toffee and spice with warm citrus, honey and a hint of salty sea breeze. The palate is soft and creamy, with sweet tinned peach and warming spices.
A drop of water softens it and adds salt, spiciness and a cooling mouthfeel.
