Oban 14 Year Old is the flagship single malt of Oban Distillery, a coastal Scottish distillery sitting between the Highlands and the Islands. It is matured for 14 years and bottled at 43% ABV.
The whisky balances maritime saltiness, rich fruit sweetness and gentle smoke.
The nose brings orange peel, dried apricot, sea breeze, honey and heather. On the palate there are peach, citrus zest, sweet malt and sea salt with gentle smoke and a touch of spice. The finish is long, with oak spice, dried fruit, sea salt and a smoky sweetness.
