Oban 14 is a Scotch single malt from the Highlands, with a fourteen-year age statement.
On the nose, very delicate smoke meets ripe fruit and a trace of salt, so the smoke stays well in the background.
The palate is maritime and only slightly smoky, with a pleasing fruitiness. Salt, grain and a little oak sit alongside it.
