Oban Distillers Edition 2022 is a West Highland single malt that was double matured in Montilla Fino sherry casks and bottled in 2022. The second maturation adds a drier, nuttier layer to the distillery's coastal style.
It is described as combining citrus, apple and honeyed malt with toasted nuts, dry sherry, soft spice and a touch of sea salt, with gentle smoke running through it. The Fino influence adds structure and a savoury side.
