Oban Distillers Edition 2022 is a Highland single malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the Classic Malts of Scotland range, which has appeared together since 1987.
The whisky was matured in used American and European casks, then finished in charred American casks and Montilla-Moriles Fino casks from southern Spain.
The nose is complex, with candied zest, grapes and a light sea breeze wrapped in smoke. The palate is malty and gently fruity and spicy, with fine wood notes that last a long time.
