A Highland single malt Scotch whisky from Oban, in a 70cl bottle. It comes from the distillery's annual Distillers Edition series.
The whisky is double matured: first in refill American oak, then finished in Montilla Fino seasoned casks.
The nose is fresh and sweet, with plums, cherries and a hint of smoke. The palate has an oily mouthfeel, balancing sweet and spicy notes of sweet fruit, black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon and clove. The finish is medium in length, warm and spicy.
