Old Bardstown Kentucky Straight Bourbon is made by Kentucky Bourbon Distillers in Bardstown, Kentucky, and comes in a 750ml bottle. The name is a nod to the town where the distillery sits. The same family distillery is behind the Willett Family Estate single barrel releases, and has been making whiskey since the 1930s. Old Bardstown is its everyday bourbon, with caramel and vanilla character from oak ageing and a soft palate. The nose is caramel, oak and vanilla with a light floral hint. The palate is soft and smooth, with more caramel and vanilla, oak and a mild sweetness. The finish is clean and easy, with a light warmth.
