Willett Family Estate 4 Year Rye (75cl)

Willett Family Estate 4 Year is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey from Kentucky Bourbon Distillers in Bardstown. It is bottled at cask strength from individually selected single barrels, and each bottle is labelled with its barrel number and bottle count. The purple wax seal on the bottle is the mark of Willett's rye expressions. At four years old, the whiskey has a bright, spicy rye character, with the oak present but in the background. The nose offers brandied cherry over tart cherry, opening to cinnamon, baking spices and a hint of oak. On the palate come dark cherry, burnt vanilla and baking spices with a weighty texture. The finish is long and spice-forward, with cherry running through it.
