Old Elk Port Cask Finish is a rye whiskey aged for a minimum of 5 years and then finished in port barriques. It comes in a 750ml bottle.
The nose is balanced, with herbs, chocolate and red fruit. On the palate it is lightly spiced and rounded, with orange, red berries, poached pears and well-integrated oak.
The finish is long and full-bodied, with apple and red berry sweetness and a good hit of spice.
