Old Forester Birthday Bourbon 2007 is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Old Forester Distilling Co. in Louisville, released on 2 September 2007 in a 75cl bottle. It is a small batch of 12-year-old barrels chosen by the master distiller, bottled at 47% ABV (94 proof).
Birthday Bourbon is released each year on 2 September, the birthday of founder George Garvin Brown. Every edition draws on a different barrel selection and is bottled at or near the natural strength of those barrels. The 2007 sits at a slightly higher proof than the standard Old Forester range.
