Old Parr 18 Year (75cl, 40%)

Old Parr 18 Year is a blended Scotch whisky aged 18 years and bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle. The blend is built around malts from Cragganmore and Glendullan, both Speyside distilleries. Cragganmore's flat-topped stills with short necks give a heavier spirit that forms the backbone of the blend, while Glendullan adds a smoother, fruitier malt character. The peat level is kept low. Roasted cashews, honeyed malt and light citrus show on the nose. The palate brings vanilla, dried fruit, milk chocolate and coffee, and the finish is medium-long, with honey-roasted peanut and toasted oak.
