A 17 year old Glenrothes single malt bottled by Douglas Laing under its Old Particular label, at 61.1% in a 70cl bottle. It is the third edition of The Dutch Dram Masters, a series created with De Monnik Dranken to honour Dutch art masters, and it was bottled exclusively for the Dutch market.
After the Night Watch and the Windstoot, this edition turns to Jan Steen's The Merry Family from 1668.
The palate shows oak spice, sugared raspberries, plenty of mocha, juicy barley and cherries.
