This is a 12 year old Strathmill single malt from Speyside, bottled by Douglas Laing as part of its Old Particular series. It comes from a single refill hogshead and is bottled at 48.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose offers honey, fresh scones, gentle vanilla, soft cereals and a touch of lemon zest. The palate is silky and bright, with buttery shortbread, baked pears and hints of white chocolate. The finish is crisp, with light spice and citrus fading cleanly.
