Old Potrero California Cellar Series #04 is a straight rye whiskey made in collaboration with Almanac Beer Co. It was distilled in San Francisco, aged in new American oak and then finished in barrels that previously held Almanac beers. It is bottled at 50% ABV in a 75cl bottle, and each bottle is individually numbered.
The nose has malty sweetness, rye spice, toasted oak and hints of citrus. The palate is bold rye with caramel, roasted grains and a touch of hop brightness. The finish is long and balanced, with spice, malt and zesty citrus.
